Plank is a supporting character in the Cartoon Network animated series Ed, Edd n Eddy.. A literal plank of wood with a face crudely painted on it, he is the imaginary friend of the eccentric kid Johnny 2x4, and, generally, has to be the "voice of reason" out of the two, such as with the various scams the Eds pull, though he can still be the thrill-seeker behind Johnny's latest predicament.

In case anybody needs clarification on the subject character, Ed (voiced by Matt Hill) is one of the three titular protagonists within the Ed, Edd n Eddy franchise. In his group, he is the buttered toast-brained, creative and (almost always) happy-spirited oaf, often being in charge of the group's heavy lifting and (literal) dirty work -- even if he occasionally screws up the Eds' scams.

The World in which the Eds live in is similar to our own. The Eds live in the town of Peach Creek which is located in an unknown state or province on either the East or West coast of North America, evidenced by a glimpse of an ocean in Ed, Edd n Eddy's Big Picture Show.
